Advancing Workload-Aware Scheduling

This post details three scheduling capabilities advancing toward Beta in v1.37: the Workload and PodGroup APIs for gang scheduling, Workload-Aware Preemption that considers workload semantics rather than only pod priority, and shared DRA ResourceClaims allowing PodGroups to share dynamic resources like GPUs.
These features target AI and ML training and batch jobs where all-or-nothing pod scheduling and coordinated resource sharing are critical.
