Git 2.56-rc0 Released

The first release candidate for Git 2.56 became available for testing, containing over 700 non-merge commits. Highlights include hardening of the ORT merge backend against corrupt trees, a new git refs subcommand set for creating, deleting, and renaming references, and quadratic-to-O(n log n) performance improvements for loose-object enumeration during git status.
