Linux Kernel 7.0 Released

Marking a major version jump, Linux 7.0 promoted Rust support to fully stable status, concluding the 'Rust experiment' debated at the 2025 Linux Kernel Maintainers Summit, with Rust drivers now treated as first-class citizens.
The release also brought roughly 20% memory-management speedups for workloads like Redis, mainline support for the SpacemiT K3 RISC-V desktop chip, and post-quantum ML-DSA module signing.
