Node.js 26.9.0 (Current)
By BIOS Founding Team

Node.js 26.9.0 adds a generic crypto MAC API and OpenSSL provider cipher and hash discovery, and node:ffi is now enabled by default. It also adds histogram meanCI and CBOR export and import, an experimental DTLS API and VFS integration with the CJS and ESM loaders.
Fixes cover HTTP/2 write deadlocks, fs.cp() on the thread pool and a glob maxDepth option. Hmac.digest() also no longer returns uninitialized memory.
