Storage Version Migration Enabled by Default

A v1.37 feature deep-dive explaining that the Storage Version Migration controller, which keeps stored objects on their current preferred storage version after CRD or API changes, is now on by default.
This reduces manual migration burden for cluster operators after schema changes.
