Upcoming Next.js Security Update: Advance Notice

Next.js announced an out-of-band security update planned for October 14, 2026. It will address three vulnerabilities in upstream dependencies, two rated Critical and one High.
Two of the fixes were postponed from the September security release because of upstream coordination. This post is an advance notice, and the full advisories, affected versions and upgrade steps will ship with the update.
